Let's face it, this is the last bell for thoughts and decisions about Christmas presents for kids. Mine are constantly discussing what they will write in their letters - they both still believe in Santa Claus - and I listen to these conversations. Sometimes I try to prompt, guide and, at the same time, help myself a bit.
When buying gifts, I pay attention to several things. First of all, whether a toy is something that the child will actually have fun, what he has been thinking or dreaming for some time, and does not enter the letter only under the influence of an advertisement once seen. I also always evaluate the company and materials from which a toy is made. Investing in toys has been working for me for years. Those made of good quality materials have a much longer life span and will serve several years to several children. And even used ones keep the price - so you can sell them favorably. This year, Santa will not have it light. Here are some toys that I consider. At first, my daughter seems to be the biggest challenge.
We have a beautiful wooden house in stock. She got it a few years ago and was not absolutely ready for it then - only now, when she is 5 years old, this toy enjoys her attention and engages for a long time. The copy that Young has is adapted to small dolls, type Evi. This year, the daughter will get more furniture for him. As with the choice of the house, we have also focused on wood and natural materials. Elements made of such material are the most durable and all-timeless - the wood ages in a natural way - it does not fade. And any damage can be repaired in an easy and safe way for the child. So I have planned a trifle in the form of a set of furniture.
I watch my child and in the last year the most fun revolves around "being a mom". My daughter uses a doll, which I received as a gift, so the toy is over 30 years old! He is still doing great. Young has a pram for her, but I can see that she would like to use other elements to create more play scenarios. It is tempting to create a whole play corner in the house.
I found such a set from Smoby. Yes, I know - this is not wood - but Smoby is one of my favorite toy companies. We have several things in a fence - which have been in constant use for several years - are still in great condition. This set is very interesting. Solved in a compact way, it allows to properly play all the roles of the future mother 🙂 We have three zones here: kitchen with dining room, bathroom and bedroom. And so in the kitchen corner is a sink with a tap, a stove and even a tiny microwave to heat food. What my daughter would definitely like is a doll's high chair. In the next zone is the bathroom - with an absolute hit for me - a bathtub! Next to it is the entire range necessary to wash the doll: a shower, a changing table and a shelf for care items. Finally, the bedroom - where the most important element is - a cot with a rotating carousel, as well as a glowing night lamp! The set includes a lot of accessories. For this toy, there is one more important detail - after finishing the play, the corner can be folded to a smaller size to facilitate its storage. This is extremely important due to the size of our apartment.
